Information & Advice For Arrhythmia Patients
Implanted devices can provide a diagnosis, manage the rhythm of your heart and be life-saving for some potentially fatal arrhythmias. Often they can be implanted as an out-patient with little to no discomfort. However on rare occasions an infection may occur in the wound.
The purpose of this survey was to gather information from anyone who may have experienced discomfort, infection or had to have the implant removed or re-sited.
