Support Groups

Our community support groups aim to provide both physical and emotional support to patients living with arrhythmias. Through our educational resources, community partners and heart health devices, we are able to provide patients with the the support that the need to live their best lives.

Due to Corona Virus our meetings are greatly reduced, the below dates may be subject to change, cancellation, or may be held via video chat:

 

Frome AF Patient Suuport Group

Monday 21 February 1.30pm an opportunity for a face to face ‘Cuppa & Catch-up’ at the Cheese and Grain Café, in Frome

Frome Zoom – Monday 21st March – 1.40-3.00pm (This has been opened up to patients from all locations)

The group is facilitated by Helen Hodgson, Helen is a Highly Specialist Cardiac Physiologist with a special interest in AF.
 

Surrey Arrhythmia Support Group

We are very pleased to invite you to the Surrey Arrhythmia Support group, taking place on Wednesday 2nd February at 5pm via Zoom. This Zoom meeting is open to Arrhythmia patients across the UK.

Dr Szabolcs Nagy a senior doctor whose PhD was about the mechanics of persistent Atrial Fibrillation, who has agreed to talk about ‘Lifestyle Changes for Cardiac Patients.’ If you have any questions to put forward, please send your questions before Sunday 30th January.

If you are interested in attending, please email Tracy Goodman, t.goodman@heartrhythmalliance.org with your consent for us to pass on your details to our affiliate, Rosemary Najim, who heads up the Surrey Support Group. The Zoom instructions will be forwarded on nearer the date.

Surrey ICD Support Group Frimley Park Hospital - Feb 2022 (exact date, time & location of meeting TBC)
 

Salford Heart Care - are running weekly Zoom meetings, for local patients to connect & support each other
