AF Information for Clinicians

Healthcare Pioneers 2021

In order to submit your case study, you will need details about the lead contact, authors and an accompanying image. Case studies not adhering to the guidelines will result in unsuccessful submission and will require amending.
 

Instructions

Each Case Study must have:
- A title (max 25 words)
- An author or group name, location & country
- A text submission of no more than 400 words 
- An appropriate image to accompany the case study
 
Please structure your case study with an introduction, brief outline of service, care pathway and/or treatment. Results and conclusions should include implications for patient/service benefits.
 
All entries will be reviewed by an AF expert judging committee comprising the AF Association Medical Advisory Committee & Arrhythmia Alliance Executive Committee.  The judging committee, chaired by Prof A J Camm, will select case studies that identify best practice in delivering care for AF patients from identification and diagnosis through to treatment – perfecting the patient care pathway.
The AF Association Healthcare Pioneers Report recognises best practice in the identification, diagnosis, treatment and care of patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) and is used as a benchmark to improve services and care for the patients with AF.
Each year, entries are reviewed by an AF expert judging committee established from the AF Association Medial Advisory Committee & Arrhythmia Alliance Executive Committee. The judging committee, chaired by Prof A J Camm, select Case Studies that identify best practice in delivering care for AF patients from identification, diagnosis through to treatment – perfecting the patient care pathway.
